A deeply pitched yet refined nose speaks of cool and very fresh dark berry fruit and wet stone inflected aromas that introduce rich, concentrated and beautifully detailed medium-bodied flavors that are underpinned by notably ripe tannins and fine length on the explosive and palate staining finish. As is typically the case there is moderate austerity present but the underlying material should make this very special in time. Drink 2022+.

Very sweet and a bit reminiscent of blue cheese or cheese rind. Dramatic. Not as transparent as some. But lots of sweet delivery. (JR)
