Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2016 Puligny-Montrachet Corvée des Vignes is excellent, offering up aromas of white peach, citrus oil, spring flowers and subtle pastry cream. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and concentrated, with wonderful purity and depth. In a vintage that sometimes produced unbalanced wines in the Côte de Beaune, this stands out for its harmony and finesse. The yield was a paltry 20 hectoliters per hectare. Vincent Dureuil may be based in Rully, but he produces one of Puligny-Montrachet's finest village wines.
