The 2023 Rully Chapitre 1er Cru (Rouge) has a more tertiary nose. In fact, I had to double-check with Vincent Dureuil that it was destemmed. This is very expressive, with hints of blood orange infusing a touch of red fruit. The palate is harmonious, pliant and fluid with chiseled tannins, silky texture and veins of blue fruit toward the finish. It's excellent, albeit molded in a slightly richer style.
