Tasting Notes and Scores

88-90 ST

(the only 2009 here that was completely destemmed) Bright, dark red. Slightly roasted aromas of blackberry, licorice, violet and graphite. Fat and lush but a bit heavy. The tannins cut off the wine's fruit early and build on the back. The warmest in style of Lignier's 2009, missing the energy that can be provided by vinification with stems.
