Tasting Notes and Scores

Ruby-red. Complex, expressive nose combines tarry black fruits, licorice, roasted herbs, underbrush and brown spices, plus oak notes of chocolate and mocha. Lush, suave, warm and very ripe but not roasted or cooked. Quite rich, sweet and chocolatey in the middle, but not quite as sweet as the Faconnieres. Finishes with building, oak-powered tannins and just a hint of raisin.
