Bright, dark red. Aromatic nose offers scents of blackberry, licorice, spices, black pepper and herbs. Juicy, lively and vinous; not a fat or dense wine but penetrating and alive. A firm tannic backbone and saline minerality carry the slightly lean fruit. This has the structure to fill out in bottle.
