Here there is a menthol note sitting atop the slightly riper yet cool aromas of cassis, violet and plum. The palate impression of the medium-bodied flavors isn’t quite as concentrated but it is finer with really lovely delineation to the mineral-inflected, balanced and lingering finish. Recommended. (25% vendange entier ; the crop level here was 45 hectoliters per hectare, according to Lignier): Bright dark red. Cassis, minerals and dark chocolate on the nose. Nicely ripe and juicy, conveying a slightly wild quality to its flavors of dark berries, crushed rock and saline minerality. Shows very good potential even if it doesn't quite come alive today.

Light bright crimson. Pale rim. Light nose. Charming fruity palate with energy and grainy but not aggressively tannic texture. Lots of vivacity and grip. GV (JR)
