The 2023 Musigny Grand Cru is 100% whole bunch as usual. Following the Bonnes-Mares and Charmes-Chambertin, I must admit that it is not my favorite on the nose, the stems too prominent and occluding the fruit profile/terroir. The palate is medium-bodied with a fresh opening, well balanced with fine tannins, although again, the stems seem to do all the talking at the moment. Is there the fruit concentration/density to fully subsume the stalks with bottle age?
