Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2019 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from an exchange of fruit. Lots of pineapple chunks on the nose; I am not sure if I want that on a Grand Cru! The palate is rounded and tropical with low acidity, pineapple and quince notes pushed to the fore, and a generous, easygoing finish. Fine, but not really complex. Two barrels produced.
