Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Village is a blend of several parcels towards the lower slopes matured in approximately 40% new oak. It has quite a high-toned bouquet with ripe macerated red cherries and kirsch. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red and black fruit, moderate acidity and a structured dense finish that needs to muster a little more finesse.
