Tasting Notes and Scores
(this wine and all of Sérafin's crus get 100% new oak): Bright ruby-red. Tighter and higher-pitched on the nose than the basic village offering, displaying aromas of boysenberry, licorice and violet. A compellingly sweet, bright village wine with the intensity of a premier cru. This impeccably balanced wine finishes with suave tannins and excellent length and lift. The crop level here was a moderate 35 hectoliters per hectare, according to winemaker Frédérique Bachotet.

Vinous
Solid and chestnutty. Something alpine and woody about this somehow. Though there is fruit too. Serious. (JR)
