Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2023 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Rouge was already bottled when I visited. This comes from two parcels and represents the biggest cuvée of the domaine. It's a blend of 50% whole bunch and the rest destemmed, vinified in concrete tank with minimal pigeage and raised in only stainless steel. This has an open-knit bouquet with red cherries and crushed strawberry fruit notes. The palate is fleshy on the entry, an easy-drinking Pinot with a dash of white pepper, leading to a sour cherry-tinged, lively finish.
