The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Platières wafts from the glass with aromas of dark berries, loamy soil and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy palate framed by rich, powdery tannins. Concentrated and serious, it derives from old vines that are heavily virused, producing small berries.
