The 2021 Pommard Les Vignots, three-quarters from vines planted in the 1950s, has a delightful, well-defined bouquet that bursts from the glass, a mélange of red and black fruit laced with iris flower. The palate is medium-bodied with black plum and raspberry fruit, ripe and quite concentrated with plenty of sapidity on the finish. Punches above its weight.
