The 2020 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is another wine with some reduction on the nose, but there is admirable complexity and mineralité , with very pure fruit. The oak is seamlessly integrated. I like the energy. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiseled tannins, fresh and tensile, wonderful sapidity, and a brisk and energetic finish that leaves you wanting another sip. Elegance and intensity effortlessly combine. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
