The 2019 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Fournaux reveals notes of raspberries, rose petals, sweet spices and orange rind. Medium-bodied, velvety and lively, it's supple and charming, with a crunchy core of fruit and melting tannins. It's another 2019 that's more refined and elegant than its 2018 counterpart.

The 2019 Savigny-lès-Beaune Fourneaux 1er Cru has quite a strong marine influence on the nose, hints of seaweed and oyster shell permeating the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation, a touch of spiciness thanks to the 20% whole cluster, and hints of truffle on the aftertaste. Quite a serious Savigny that should age well.
