Deep red-ruby. Complex aromas of musky raspberry and black cherry lifted by minerals. Suave, sweet and minerally, with lovely inner-palate tension in spite of its smoothness. Broadens out on the back and finishes with slightly dry tannins and very good length. This is from thinner soil than the Avaux, which is rich in clay.
