Bright dark red. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, spices and rose petal accented by white pepper. A lovely juicy midweight, with pure red fruit and spice flavors framed by harmonious acidity and a firm tannic spine. Penetrating but not at all hard.

Scented, heady and voluptuous. Sweet and correct – very obviously Chambolle. Could do with just a little more freshness. Tastes purple somehow! Sweet finish. (JR)
