Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2015 Pommard 1er Cru Les Chanlins contains 40% whole cluster and 30% new French oak. It has a composed bouquet with hints of violet infusing the pure red fruit: lively and engaging, the new oak seamlessly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with supple red berry fruit, impressive fruit concentration and yet maintaining impressive control and focus all the way through to the confit-like finish, which exerts an insistent grip. Give this 2-3 years in bottle before broaching. This is a fine Pommard from Anne Parent.
