Expressive nose melds apple, pear, honey and white flowers, along with a hint of resiny oak. At once silky and bright, with very good concentration of fruit and a strong element of sweet oak. Nicely integrated acidity gives this wine very good grip. But not clearly better than Jadot top premier crus from Puligny.

Take two-thirds of the style of the Bâtard and the other third from the Bienvenues and you'll have a rough approximation of this particular Criots. Rich, full, expressive yet finely detailed ripe fruit aromas pave the way for powerful, robust, intense flavors that offer lovely complexity and an almost tender finish. A beautiful blend of power and finesse. Drink: 2008-15
