The 2022 Pernand-Vergelesses Les Fichots 1er Cru had a bright bouquet with redcurrant and cranberry fruit, pure but not the most complex I encountered during my trip. The palate is balanced with lightly spiced dark berry fruit and light tertiary notes. Just a little herbaceousness towards the finish; it’s just a bit angular.
