The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Corbeaux 1er Cru comes from a single 0.14-hectare parcel. This displays fine intensity on the well-defined nose, offering vibrant morello cherry and raspberry fruit and conveying an underlying mineralité . The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, silky-smooth and harmonious with, again, the right amount of mineralité . This is very assured and conveys a lovely sense of Pinoté toward the poised finish. Recommended.
