Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2015 Gevrey Chambertin Combottes 1er Cru comes from less clayey soils compared to Dujac's parcel. It has a slightly leafy bouquet at the moment, needing quite a bit of encouragement from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin on the entry, a little "gruff" in personality with a slightly austere finish that needs more fruité to show through.
