The 2020 Corton Les Renardes Grand Cru includes 50% whole bunch aged in 25% new oak. Taut and fresh on the nose, this Corton has fine focus. No, not powerful, yet it has a pleasant floral element that becomes more pronounced with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet, candied opening. Almost creamy in texture, there is a lot of sucrosity in this Corton and that just takes away from its delineation on the finish.
