The 2018 Chambertin Grand Cru offers up an inviting bouquet of orange rind, cherries, dried flowers and licorice. Full-bodied, supple and layered, its ample core of ripe fruit is structured around fine, powdery tannins. This is the most reserved of Girardin's grand cru Gevrey trio, but there's nothing austere about it.
