The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Haut Pruliers 1er Cru has quite a high-toned bouquet with violet and iris petal infusing the black cherries, cassis and blueberry fruit. Lively and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with a patina of new oak to be absorbed on the entry. Fine depth, grippy, quite structured towards the finish that feels persistent and saline, a hint of black olive on the aftertaste. Impressive.
