Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale. 100% Pinot Noir. Les Crayeres. Vinfied and aged in oak barrels. Bottled April 2016, disgorged September 2018. Crunchy, chestnutty, powerful, muscular wine. This tastes like hazelnuts toasted in a pan of jamón iberico fat. Deeply umami, savoury sweet, with the almost-bitter seductive unctuousness of the jamón and the astringency of nut skin. (TC)
