This feels fresh and primary, with hints of nectarine, strawberry and redcurrant accenting the citrus fruit. This is the only vintage of Juste Rosé to contain more Chardonnay (52%) than Pinot Noir, and it seems to reflect that in its elegant build: while it initially appears round and inviting, its acidity becomes more pronounced as it sits in the glass, and it’s supported by a noble chalkiness that keeps it lively and kinetic. Drinking fantastically well now, yet it clearly has the potential to age for decades to come. Disgorged: March 2019. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2054
