Tasting Notes and Scores
The nose is very focussed and refined, revealing the pedigree of the wine, developing aromas of quince and apple, combined with hints of dried fruits. The palate shows excellent depth of fruit but also a very firm, taut acidity to complement the richness. The finish boasts sumptuous almond nuttiness perfectly balanced with citrus freshness. Overall it still tastes quite young and clearly has an amazing potential for development.

Bordeaux Index
Really quite broad and ripe on the nose with mildly floral notes and a hint of putty. Really very dramatic! Even a hint of marzipan. Creamy texture with a little bruised apple acidity. Admirably long. Really exciting. Is this a worthy successor to the 2002?
