Tasting Notes and Scores

Heavy bottle. A full bodied blend of Bordeaux and Mediterranean grape varieties. Very deep crimson. Intense, superripe nose. There's a very slightly dated aspect to this slightly sweet wine. Lots of pleasure but it strikes me as a late twentieth rather than early twenty-first century style. Hot finish. Just a little hole on the mid palate but the balance is good. (JR)
