A truly irresistible pink! Charming, refreshing, refined, and with plenty of juicy, enticing, strawberry and summer berry fruit. This is a rosé that should be in everyone’s cellars, without exception. Drinkable is an understatement and you’ll keep on coming back for seconds… We defy you to resist.

Dry and zingy with a herbal touch and just-ripe fruit on the palate. Limited flavour range. For a premium brand, this is rather bland. But perhaps the prestige of the label makes quality less relevant. (RH)

Brilliant name.... from Caves d'Esclans, I note from label scrutiny, rather than Ch d'Esclans, so presumably from bought-in fruit. Pale to mid strawberry pink. Rather sweaty nose. Slightly sweet palate entry and then acidity which doesn't yet seem to be very well integrated. Not much persistence. A bit astringent. (JR)
