Glass-staining magenta. A wildly complex bouquet evokes ripe red and blue fruits, smoked meat, olive paste, potpourri and botanical herbs. Appealingly sweet and expansive on the palate, offering kirsch, cassis, espresso, salty olive and fresh bay flavors that are complemented by smoky mineral, candied violet and cracked pepper accents. Closes very long and smoky, with chewy tannins and resonating floral and spice notes.
