Bright violet color. Intense, sharply focused red berry and floral pastille aromas show a zesty mineral nuance. Sweet, penetrating and pure, conveying a suave combination of power and vivacity to its raspberry liqueur and lavender flavors. Spice and mineral notes define the finish, which features silky tannins and a touch of smokiness.

Blackcurrant candy and menthol medicine character. More like Cabernet than Grenache, in many ways. Plenty of wine to enjoy, but not the most typical style of southern Rhône. Even so, the concentration and clarity of fruit is impressive. (RH)
