Limpid, green-hued yellow. Displays floral scents, an exotic touch of saffron, incisive, mineral-driven citrus and orchard fruit. Taut and sharply focused on the palate, offering vibrant lemon zest, green apple and white peach flavors that slowly unfold through the mid-palate. Strongly echoes the mineral and floral notes on an impressively long finish that shows superb clarity and closing thrust.

100% Viognier. Tank sample. Attractive phenolic note, apple and spice – some good pear and peach fruit. Very oily palate incredible weighty richness – almost sweet on the finish – opulent is certainly the word. It is reined in by some freshness towards the end of the palate. (AC)
