Tasting Notes and Scores

4/5 JLL

100% Syrah - Dark red; the bouquet leads on a firm blackberry aroma, a baked note to it, hints of raspberry, is primary, not varied, has liqueur notions. It will unlock over time. The palate attacks on compact content, red-fruited with some dash in the tannins, a freer tone after the mid-point. It’s well put together, its depth is well established, the length a little savoury, rounded. It’s nice and sure, sunny without excess, merits study. Drink it from 2026. Tasted in June 2021.
