Cask sample. From near Le Boulou near Les Albères. They made vin doux naturel decades before the creation of the name vin doux naturel. Mainly Grenache Noir. Greenish-orange colour. Spicy nose with some bitter orange-peel notes. Different texture than some. Chalky, smooth tannins. Lots of acidity. Very clean end. (JR)
