Furmint, RS 260 g/l. Deepest burnished gold. Essence of caramelised apricots but with a sour tangy contrast to the sweetness. Rich, mouth-filling and incredibly fresh and pure – amazing given its age. Ultimate Tokaj. Ultimate intensity but perfectly balanced. Goes on for ever. Tighter and more precise than the 2008. (JH)
