Monforte d'Alba. Tasted blind. Lustrous mid ruby with orange tinges. Deep, seductive and ripe fruit nose. Supple and generous on the palate with a polished oak note. Long, supple and with delicious chew of the gripping tannins. A very pretty wine. (WS)
