Spice, black cherry, menthol, licorice and lavender and a host of deep, balsamic-inflected nuances emerge from the 2013 Barolo Villero. Intensely flavored and yet light on its feet, the 2013 captures the essence of this Castiglione Falletto site. The tannins need time to soften.
