The 2013 Barolo Vigna Rionda brings together power and sensuality, with striking inner sweetness and impeccable balance. In this vintage, the oak seems more measured and integrated than it has been in the recent past, which is a big positive. Succulent red cherry, rose petal, mint and spice gradually open up in an expressive Barolo that will naturally need a few more years to be at its very best.
