Serralunga d’Alba. Bottle 29 of 3,900. Lustrous and just mid ruby. Complex and balsamic while very backward on the nose. Also saline undertones. On the palate, a stunning balance of red fruit, lively acidy and long, finely ground underlying tannins. A finely grafted, elegant Vignarionda that doesn’t set on tannic power. (WS)
