The 2008 Barolo Conca possesses a bit more mid-palate stuffing and richness than the Giachini, along with a softer, more immediate personality. Dark red fruit, flowers and spices meld together effortlessly in this round wine. This is a fairly radiant, generous style for the year, but it works beautifully.
