Neive. Lustrous ruby. Hugely appealing, concentrated cherry fruit nose with a minty, garden-herb edge and a hint of Moroccan leather. Gorgeous succulent fruit with bags and bags of powdery tannins that need time to integrate, and I suspect this was the main reason for this late release. Very long and tannic. (WS)

Two years in botti and one in bottle. Pale-medium ruby-garnet. Pronounced nutty-spice nose, with lots of old leather, then pot pourri and dried strawberry fruit beneath. Moderate palate weight, with firm, sandy tannins and brisk acidity. Long, nutty finish, but it’s pretty developed for its structure. Drink soonish. (TJ)
