Tasting Notes and Scores
Medium dark yellow. Ripe aromas of banana, caramel apple and pineapple, complemented by sweet spices. Concentrated and dense, offering tropical fruit and vanillin flavors enlivened by a brisk, fresher citrus quality. Intense, ripe and long, but finishes with a bitter oaky edge that needs food.

This is the full treatment white from Italy and it always delivers. Aromas of cooked apple, cream, hints of toasted oak and peach. Full body, bright acidity, with tangy fresh fruit. Hints of yogurt and wood. Complex and truly great. Love the backbone of acidity that gives lovely form.

The elegant 2014 Cervaro della Sala (mostly Chardonnay with a smaller part Grechetto) is Burgundian in style and character. This is a refined and delicately layered expression that peels back to reveal stone fruit, toasted almond, white flowers and subtle vanilla-like nuances. This is a beautiful wine with impressive fullness and generosity on the silky finish. ML

An elegant, medium-bodied white, with oak spice and vanilla accents to the baked pineapple, almond skin and lime blossom notes. Bright and well-knit, this offers rich flavor without excessive weight. Chardonnay with Grechetto. AN
