Pale to medium ruby colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir has some tar and rubber reduction notes to begin giving way to a black cherry and wild blueberry nose with hints of anise, chargrill and dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, it delivers tons of ripe red and black berry flavors with slippery tannins and a long spicy finish.

Pale-mid ruby-garnet, with some haze. Beetroot tone and very ripe blackberry, gentle leafiness and integral cinnamon oak – deftly used. On the palate, sweet beetroot and black cherry, but a fine line of acidity that holds freshness in this ripe style. Fine tannins too. (TJ)
