Tasting Notes and Scores
A plush pinot noir from the 2012 vintage, this has plenty of satsuma, plum and dark-cherry fruit as well as brighter red cherries, dark spices and freshly toasted oak. The palate has supple, fleshy fruit flavors, cherries and summer berries. Fine tannins fan out superbly, with a touch of liquorice to close. Drink now. Oct 2014 >

The 2012 Pinot Noir has lovely floral nuances with some herbal accents and a great core of fruit. Very elegant in the mouth with a nice backbone of tannins and acid, this vintage is a true beauty.

Medium ruby-purple-colored, the 2012 Bannockburn Pinot Noir opens with attractive aromas of black cherries and black raspberries with underlying violet, aniseed and charcoal suggestions. Medium-bodied with plenty of mouth-filling black and red berry flavors, it is structured with a medium level of finely grained tannins and crisp acid before finishing with good length. Drink it now to 2018+.
