Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2019 Vivaltus La Fleur hails from Ribera del Duero and was aged for up to 12 months in barrels and amphorae. Blackberry and cassis preserve lead on the nose, followed by gentle underbrush, a balsamic herbal touch and a hint of lavender. The palate is compact, with more grip than the 2018 and chalky tannins, yet it retains the house’s fluid style. The long, expectorant finish sustains the charm. The warm year defines a more classical Ribera profile.
