Tasting Notes and Scores

92 RP

The 2014 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard is another terrific Pinot Noir from Chanin. Rose petals, strawberry, spice and forest floor notes all emerge from this medium-bodied, silky, elegant beauty that never puts a foot wrong. Aged 15 months in 15% new French oak, I’d drink it over the coming 5-7 years, but wouldn’t be surprised to see it evolve longer. Drink 2016-2023.
