93-96 AG

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, which I tasted from a preliminary blend, is super-expressive. Deep, powerful and intense, yet also remarkably light on its feet, the 2013 has plenty of pedigree. Iron, smoke, tobacco, lavender and rose petals all lift from the glass. Today, the 2013 shows a level of aromatic sweetness that is compelling. I imagine the 2013 will need a number of years in bottle to fully come together. Still, it is impressive today. This blend includes 6-7% cofermented Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
