Tasting Notes and Scores

16.5 JR

Wild yeast, no acid adjustment. Lighter vintage than the norm. Dry farmed, unusually, with a heat spike just before harvest. Bright crimson. Very light nose but aromatic, rather Cabernet Franc-like on the nose. Still pretty chewy and I suppose that’s a mountain-vineyard thing. Lots to chew on. (JR)
